1. RULES

It is recommended not to share complete data on SD-Card
between different TV models
!
If you want to share svl.db file between several TV's you have
to get data (
see 3.) from each TV first on separate prepared
SD-Cards (see 2.). Then you can copy your modified svl.db file to
each prepared SD-Card. Copy to location: hotel_setup/svl.db.

The feature so far is only applicable for PAL09 SAT models
and PAL10 SAT models
. Future releases will also have
support for DVB-T/C lists.

It is important not to share svl.db files between TV's which
have different TV signal inputs. You must not copy a svl.db
file containing DVB-S Channels onto any TV which lacks DVB-S
tuner and vice versa!

2. Prepare SD-Card

Take a SD-Card (max 2GB) and delete all content
(e.g. format FAT32).

Create following empty file on SD-Card: hotel.pwd
E.g. in file browser on your system select 'Create new text file'
and rename to hotel.pwd

3. Get Channel List Database off the TV

Power on TV. If not already done, enable DVB-S signal
and perform Auto Setup.
Insert SD-Card when in watching mode will switch to Datacopy
mode.



Input PIN: 4850 (read) will start reading Channel List Database.
In case of wrong PIN, remove SD card and insert to start again.



Wait until running Video is displayed again (may take some time).
Remove SD-Card.

Database file (svl.db) on SD-Card is located under:
hotel_setup/svl.db


Do not modify any other content but svl.db (Use Panasonic
PC Channel Editor tool).
Do not change svl.db filename.

4. Write Channel List Database back to TV

Be sure that Database file (svl.db) is put in the right location on
SD-Card:
(e.g. after editing with Panasonic PC Channel Editor tool)

Location on SD-Card: hotel_setup/svl.db
Do not change svl.db filename.

Note:
If copying data on another TV set, be sure to perform Initial
Setup and enable at least DVB-S signal on this TV set first.
Regardless of editing only a certain list, the database always
contains all Channel Lists (DVB and Analogue) which were enabled
on the TV set from where the data was copied.

Insert SD-Card will switch to Hotel Mode (Data copy).



Input PIN: 4851 (write) will start writing Channel List Database.
In case of wrong PIN, remove SD card and insert to start again.



Wait until FINISH is displayed.



Power off TV, remove SD-Card, Power on TV, check Channel Lists.
