ToH 3.2 with EMU 1.2 (by HoT)

Following CAS-Systems can be now emulated:

 

- IRDETO/BC

- SECA mit

- SECA2 für Ident 64

- VIA

- NAGRA mit AU

- CONAX

 

Before installation please read the following notes:

 

The HDF-Datei HoTEmu****.HDF derives from the Basis firmware and the TOH-Module, like Emu. The HDF-Data will be installed with the download tool WDN40AK+.

 

After installation of the HDF in the Humax, input also the EmuKey-File. Also use "DSR 9500 EMU Ed23.exe".

 

Attention, The Hummy has to be on , and not in standby mode.

 

To write, use the write button. Please check with 'Read' for the first time if the written keyfile has been uploaded in the Humax.

 

WIN2000 users might experience problems.

 

After installation, one should put the Humax in Standby mode.

 

Now will the keyfile from the RAM be written into the Flash.

 

Please Note: After uploading of a new channel settings, one must reinstall the EmuKey-File. One can also use as Human from Version 0.9.9.1.

Human was written especially for the HoT-Firmware and doesn't overrule or alter the Basic Parameters any more.

 

Please Note: A card has always to be present in the CAM, at least untill the Card Initialising stops. It is also possible to use an official Irdeto or Betacrypte Card, which will also be opened in EMU-Mode.

 

TO access the Emu-Mode, please go via the ToH-Config Menu. Under 'Preselect'the following options are possible:

 

EMU-K (Emulator and Card):

In this mode the ECM/EMM'S as well as the EMU, go to the Card. The Card contains only ECM/EMM's through which the second known Card Irdeto are determined.

 

EMU-S (Emulator and Sharingserver for PW):

------------------------------------------

In this mode, a sharing server will be added in the Communication. The Connection takes place via the Seial port of the Humax.

 

Instructions:

 

1. Connect the Cardreader to PC(eg Port 1) and the Humax (eg Port 2)

2. Start CardServer

3. Settings: Add Reader, set IP 0.0.0.0 (für Server and Client am selben PC)

4. Start CardServer afresh

5. Put in the Premiere-Smartcard and check CardServer-Window

6. Start from HSIC: server-ip (=127.0.0.1) tcp-port and com-port install

7. Reset embedded HUMAX-CAM (0-RCL)

 

EMU (Pure EMU Mode):

This mode is not yet available. In this mode it will be possible, that EMU without inserting a card can take place.

In the PMCT can the CAS-Systeme under EMU-K, EMU-S und EMU

serve the EMU, and write down to it. Please do not modify
