Xtreme Ucas v3.0 naar Dreamload probleem...

Ik heb een Xtreme HUCI6500 waar Ucas V3.0 in zat.

Dit gaf wat problemen met m'n kaart en daarom wou ik er Dreamload in zetten in combinatie met Pentacrypt 1.20. Met de CAS-interface heb ik de Xtreme gewist en opniew geprogrameet met Dreamload.

 

Echter nu geeft de ontvanger in het CA menu aan : NIET GEINSTALLEERD <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Wat heb ik verkeerd gedaan? En wat kan ik er aan doen?

Het is niet zo dat je iets verkeerd hoeft te doen om deze melding te krijgen. Heb je cas 2 met casstudio gebruikt? Als dit zo is probeer dan versie 4.5.1. in plaats van de laatste, dit gaf bij mij ook problemen, probeer ook eens de Dreamload van verschillende bronnen.

 

Welke meldingen kreeg je tijdens het proggen? geen problemen met erasen, flash not warranted etc.?

Ik heb dit gedaan met de CAS1 interface.

Dat moet toch gewoon kunnen?

In combinatie met CAS interface studio 2.1?

For all those who are trying to revive their Extreme and/or @9500S Receivers with the CAS+.

After a lot time spending triing to get the CAS+ working with my @9500S receiver which was dead after loading Penta 1.11 into the Dreemboot embedded CAS, I finally succeeded.

The problem I found was, that the connection marking for the receiver interface on the CAS+ differs from that on the CAS interface.

This makes the CAS+ interface thinking the CAM is not connected and reports the FFFFFFF string.

After changing the connection from the CAS+ to the ones I found somewhere on this forum as being:

 

CAS+ CAS old

A=A

C=B

D=C

E=D

F=E

 

PC configuration:

 

Toshiba laptop Pentium 133 MHz.

Windows 98SE Dutch

CAS+ directly inserted into the parallel port

Parallel port settings according to CAS manual

connection to @9500S with selfmade cable aproximately 10 cm long

12 V unregulated Power supply.

CASstudio 2.1

 

Receiver configuration:

Power on

Dish disconnected

MM V1.03 inserted in slot 1

Tuned to any channel

 

First connection:

 

Reported Xlinx version correctly, flash not recognized.

Functionality not garanteed

Conducted Erase all. No erase errors

Did not try to write the flash

 

Second connection:

Receiver configuration:

Same but MM V1.03 removed from slot 1

 

Connection report Xlinx and Toshiba flash

Conducted Erase all. Erase error on block 33.

Tried manual earse block 33: erase error

Erased block 34 manually.

Loaded Dreamload.bin for @SAT and Xtreme found on Dutch UCAS receiver support board

After approximately 10 minutes a write succesful. Observed some busy errors.

Switched every thing off. Connected the receiver to the TV-set found Dreamload in the CAS menu.

Loaded with the MAGIC programmer Penta 1.11 bul_mux into the receiver.

Switch off and on Penta 1.11 reported by the CAS.

Switched off and on again to see if the Penta 1.11 distroyed the Dreamload as it was the case with Dreemboot and the cause of all this trouble. Penta still present.

 

Rick please put a correct connection diagram on your site for the CAS+ to the Xtreme and/or @9500 receiver. User of CAS+ who try to revive their Nextwave receiver may have the same difficulties as I had with the CAS+.

I has costed me I lot of time to find out the problem.
