Product Description:

MPEG Streamclip converts MPEG-1/MPEG-2 files and transport streams into several formats; the most important features (MPEG-2 to QuickTime or DV, MPEG-2 playback) require the Apple MPEG-2 Playback Component. MPEG Streamclip can play and convert selectable parts of MPEG files and transport streams with MPEG/AC3/PCM audio into DV25/DV50 streams or QuickTime movies using any video codec, with optional 2D-FIR professional scaling, motion-adaptive deinterlacing, and other pro options; all in YUV, with uncompressed audio in perfect sync. It also performs fast conversions to muxed MPEG files and demuxed M2V, AIFF, M1A, AC3 files, for direct burning with DVD Studio Pro and Toast 6.

What's new in this version:

fixed all known issues of version 1.1, including some crashing bugs

added a batch list for batch processing, a preferences window, a log window and an edit list

added two connection tools for the DreamBox and the Topfield 5000

added a multiplexer: you can open M2V with AIFF and convert it to MPEG

output files are now compatible with Sizzle and VLC Media Player

new supported files: VRO, MOD, VID, DAT

editing is more accurate, and with up/down keys you can step through keyframes

an option in preferences lets you fix streams with data breaks

added 5 new buttons in the player window

many more new features and enhancements
