on the 03th of 2005 the Reel software quality management released a new software-image for testing purpose.

- Improvements at color-values and -settings in BSP-Player as well in Focus-Settings

 

- PCM Sound working

 

this enables mp3 Audio, CD-Audio and (analog) Sound within DVD

 

- DVD Navigation working

 

- significant improved Reaction to Remote-Control through switching to LIRC Interface

 

- Noad included (automatic setting of cutting-marks in recordings)

 

- Auto-shutdown-after-timer-wakeup working

 

- Time between Standby -> DeepStandby adjustable in settings

 

- fixes to DVB drivers regarding CAM handling (CAMs are all connected to Tuner 1 again). This

 

is still not the final solution!

 

- fixed flashing of record-LED

 

- significant improved Bootup-times (about 13sec)

 

- added JFS filesystem. This additionally improves booting time about 5-9sec (using a 150GB HD).

 

To use this, you have to reformat your harddrive. ReiserFS is still supported of course.

 

- improved stability when fast zapping

 

- recordings now sortable by date or by alphabet (using "<" key)

 

- tons of small bugfixes...
