Nieuwe Mardini 28-11-2005 Newcamd vraag (7000S)

Ik heb de nieuwe Mardini Monster 28-11-2005 geinstalleerd maar krijg geen beeld met m'n Canaldigitaal kaart (zit in het onderste slot van de 7000S).

Een cardserv.cfg maakt het een stuk makkelijker. Wat me opviel is deze regel in newcamd.conf:

Ik neem aan dat je bewust er even linux.domain.com hebt neergezet om een IP adres te maskeren?

Nee, dit is de standaard newcamd.cfg in Mardini.

Plaats deze bestanden uit de bijlage in /var/tuxbox/config/newcamd met de kaart met de chip naar beneden in het onderste slot en herlaad newcamd eens. Zag wat kleine foutjes en je krijgt zo ook geen update op je kaart. De configuratie bestanden komen van een werkende newcamd 6.04 configuratie.

Het probleem is helaas nog niet opgelost, CS werkt wel (als client) maar de kaart wordt niet gelezen. In oudere Mardini versies had ik dit probleem niet, ik neem aan dat cardserver niet automatisch opstart?

Wat is het telnet commando om cardserver op te starten? Kan ik dit commando ook in een file opnemen zodat het automatisch uitgevoerd wordt?

Cardserver en newcamd client worden gestart zodra je via het control panel newcamd herstart. Ik ken Mardini niet, in Gemini is het via de blauwe knop en dan de gele knop om de emu te starten of herstarten. Newcamd kan je handmatig starten maar dat zou niet nodig hoeven te zijn volgens mij kan dit door in te loggen met telnet in je box, de binaries van newcamd staan in /var/bin.

Ik zou de configuratiebestanden aan kunnen maken met het IP adres van je Dreambox en een user, deze bestanden niet wijzigen dat is erg belangrijk omdat de Dreambox niet overweg kan met bestanden die zijn weggeschreven door bv notepad dus zo in de juiste directory zetten. Welk lokaal IP adres heb je je Dreambox gegeven?

Ja, de kaart zit goed in het slot en werkt als ik een oudere Mardini versie installeer (ik heb momenteel 1 Dreambox in m'n netwerk hangen).

Ja, ook in Mardini (RuDream) herstart je Newcamd via de blauwe en gele toets.
Ik zal het vanavond handmatig proberen via Telnet maar moet nu naar een klant toe.

Het lokale netwerkadres van m'n Dreambox is 10.0.0.140
Als ik een config file edit dan doe ik dit met Crimson Editor op m'n PC, heeft altijd goed gewerkt en ook nu werkt CS wel als ik de desbetreffende regel in newcamd.cfg aanpas.

Thijzel, ik krijg als ik in telnet (DCC) ingeef "telnet 10.0.0.140 14000" als antwoord:

Kun je wel vanaf je windows PC met Telnet inloggen op je Dreambox, even uitsluiten dat het niet een netwerk probleem is. Mocht dit wel lukken wat zie je als je newcamd met de hand start:

telnet 10.0.0.140 (login wachtwoord = root/dreambox)

kill daarna de eventueel draaiende newcamd met de commando's:

cd /var/script
./newcamd_6.04_betad_cam.sh stop

Nu weer opstarten, dat geeft veel output op het scherm misschien zie je hier al vreemde zaken voorbij komen.
