EPG cache

Hi all,

 

Last night I managed to compile from scratch the CVS based disc image for 7020 using open embedded and managed to get it up and running including NewCamd.

However, I notice that within my CVS image the EPG cache only contains now and next events, but when i boot the Gemini3.0 image, the EPG cache contains much more data. I can see this also in the log

CVS image :

[EPGC] 5554 bytes for cache used

Gemini3.0 :

[EPGC] 27754 bytes for cache used

 

I was looking into the epgcache.cpp but I couldn't find any clue how to make the EPG cache to cache more data.

 

How does Gemini image manage to cache more data? Help please????

you might want to configure enigma with --with-mhw-epg --with-epg=private

Thank you for your answer. I already have configured with --with-mhw-epg --with-epg=private and I see that Gemini has been configured the same. I still see on both logs (Gemini and my CVS) that MHW EPG extractor finished just after startup. Do you maybe know what is the private EPG pid for CanalDigitaal channels?
