VLC Frontend stream error

Wil heel graag mijn films vanaf mijn pc naar de dreambox streamen met behulp van VLC. Nu is het op de pc geen probleem om dit werkend te krijg daar zijn inmiddels legio tuts over te vinden maar op de dreambox zit ik met de volgende foutmelding als ik VLC Front op wil starten;

 

/var/tuxbox/plugins/vlcf.so: undefined symbol: _ZN7eZapLCD8instanceE en deze error verdwijnt automatisch na 5 sec. > programma start niet.

 

Gebruik de PLi® Iolite "2008 Edition" Images Suite 20071230 Rev.4014 voor uiteraard de DM600.

 

Wat ik al heb gedaan:

 

Verwijderen van VLC frontend en deze opnieuw installeren; zelfde melding.

VLC handmatig geinstalleerd; zelfde melding

Andere versie geinstalleerd; zelfde melding

Heb tot nu toe twee verschillende bestandsnamen gezien nl. vlcf.cfg/vlcf.so (zoals deze via blue button worden geinstalleerd) en vlc.cfg/vlc.so (geprobeerd maar zwart beeld > crash).

Heeft er iemand toevallig de files aangezien de link op de tutorial pagina niet (meer) werkt.

ik heb dit allemaal anders gedaan met vlc 0.86c op pc dit allemaal gedaan en op de BOX gewoon de frontend plugin gedownload, alles ingesteld zoals op de

maar op de box geeft hij continu de melding no connection to vlc selver available

 

dus als iemand hier ook iets voor heeft graag

Ok Guys.

When I discovered the Pli image, I wondered what the Zap Stream functionality was for...

With Zap Stream you can see on your dreambox any DivX on your pc, WITHOUT installing the VLC front end on your dreambox.

In fact the Zap Stream will generate for you all the necessary parameters for a VLC mru file and make it to play on your TV.

All you have to do is:

1> Install on your pc VLC (in my case I tried with 0.8.6.a) with all the option (check all the box at the install time)

2> Zap Stream from Webif and VERY VERY IMPORTANT just change the IP server by the IP adress from your PC... do not change anything else...

3> Browse to choose the file to play

4> Press File

5> If your browser ask you if you want to open the MRU file say yes...

6> Otherwise the VLC on your pc will launch automatically

7> Wait let's say 15 seconds and the image and sound will appear on your tv...

My environment:

Dreambox 7020si

Pli Iolite (does not seem to work with Helenite)

A PC

VLC 0.8.6.a installed on the PC

Firefox browser
