Ik heb aan alle voorwaarden voldaan en alles zo uiygevoerd zoals het hier beneden staat(readme file), toch lukt het niet.

Ik krijg steeds chroot file not linket.

Wat doe ik verkeerd(ik ken niks van linux).

 

HowTo to start alternative images'(10) of USB,CF,HDD or NFS without modifying

the image of Dream.

Image of Dream must be on the box (Version >=rel106.img).

An USB-Stick or a Compact flash Card with at least 64 MB (is sufficient for

3-4 images).

If an image does not want to run once, simply remove the Stick or the CF and

reboot the box. A further flashing is not necessary.

The combination of CF and HDD is not possible (Bug in the Kerneldriver) but

all other combinations are not a problem.

Starting image from CF:

put in the CF and boot your box.

You can format the CF with following command:

umount /hdd

mkfs.ext3 /dev/ide/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part1

mkdir /var/mnt/cf

mount /dev/ide/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part1 /var/mnt/cf

The CF is formatted and linked into the system at Mountpoint "/var/mnt/cf".

 

 

Running the Setup:

Copy the file "tools.tar.gz" with some FTP program to "/var/tmp"and the 2

"setup" files to "var/tuxbox/plugins". Now just start the plugin by pressing

the blue button.Restart Box and check if everything went right.

 

instal image:

You copy the image by FTP on the medium of your choice and start the

"DreamFlash Image-Administration" by pressing the blue button

USB - /var/mnt/usb

CF - /var/mnt/cf

HDD - /hdd

NFS - /var/mnt/nfs

Wat is de bedoeling? Compact Flash, Harddisk?

 

Het je alles onder root in de juiste dir geplaatst?

Heb je onder de blauwe knop ook de plug-in staan?

Heb je de dreambox ook herstart?

Ik probeer het met een CF van 64Mb aan de gang te krijgen.

Zodra ik de plugin start dan krijg ik die foutmelding.

Ik heb ook de handleiding van Sjerom maar geen resultaat.

Oh ja de CF zit in het CF slot en niet via USB met een 6 in 1 reader.

als je ook een harde schijf in je DB hebt zal dit niet werken...

 

HDD en CF worden tegelijkerd tijd nog niet ondersteund door Dream! dan is het dus of HDD of CF!

OK ik heb niet genoeg info gegeven betreffende mijn dreambox.

Hier komen ze:

 

Oude dreambox zonder voeding modificatie.

Geen Hdd, in orginele staat zo uit de doos.

Geen NFS, soft versie rel06.img om de CF aan de gang te krijgen voor de multie boot.
