Pace DVR501-G4 with Menu problem

Hi.

 

Sorry for english but dont understand the langue in use here:-)

 

Got an Pace DVR501-G4 (NL model without any Scart connector) with some problems.

 

It works mostly but sometimes it doesent "boot" up

(use 2 work every second time or so when i switch on the main power), but the main problem are the "Menu" does'nt work, got black screen and the box locks up and needs 2 restarted by disconnect the main power.

 

Got no original remote but have alot of universal remotes and get same result on all, and already tryed to reset it with "Mute - Standby - Mute - Standby - 1.

 

Remmember an similar problem on Pace D2mac (Cap-eater boxes) receivers and there it was an Capacitor that needed 2 be changed.

 

Tested 2 change the C710 (1000uF/25V) as it did seems an bit dark on the plastic (Heat) but no change, same Menu problem.

 

Tryed 2 find if any else got same prob on this forum by using the Search but not seen any, or possible i missed because of the langue prob :-)

 

So before i have 2 buy shares in an Cap-factory so do i hope someone know what parts 2 change.

This is a software issue, you have to upgrade the software to solve this problem.

 

Was caused by an e-mail Canal Digitaal send to the box.

 

 

And yes, this forum is in Dutch only....
