phone book plugin ???

op dreambox world kwam ik net een nieuwe plugin tegen.

 

phone book.

 

iemand al bekend hiermee ?????

 

(kan zelf niets doen, vrouwlief zit te kijken....)

volgens mij gewoon een backup van je telefoonboek. ik zie er het nut niet helemaal van in. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

of begrijp ik het nou niet???

Description

===========

The program manage your PhoneBook data (Name and Number) saved in the text file

/var/tuxbox/plugins/phonebook.txt by default.

 

Test

====

Tested on a Dreambox 7000-S, Firmware Version 1.08.

 

Installation

============

Copy phonebook.so and phonebook.cfg in /var/tuxbox/plugins directory by FTP.

Launch it as usually: press blue button on the remote control.

 

Plugin use

==========

Note: to leave phonebook list press OK.

 

Adding a new entry

------------------

Select the field "Last Name" and press OK.

-left/right key change editing position in the string

-up/down change character

-volume + insert new character

-volume - remove character

-red clear input

-yellow toggle between uppercase/lowercase

-0..9 insert characters in "sms-style"

-ok confirm changes

Do the same for "First Name" and "Phone number" and press "Add".

 

Removing an entry

-----------------

Select the row in the phone list and press "Remove/Detail".

In the message box press "OK" to confirm or "Cancel".

 

Setting a new path for the data

-------------------------------

By default your data will be saved in /var/tuxbox/plugins/.

You can change this path by selecting "Configure" button (when you aren't

inserting a text).

Insert the new path, I suggest to use Hard Disk (or an USB pendrive) or the data

will be lost when update the image. If you haven't these devices, download on

your PC the file before flashing the new image and then restore it.

Remember: the only folder you can use to store data in your flash memory

is /var ...
