upgraden Fortec Super Model

Ik heb me al rot gezocht naar de juiste manier om deze ontvanger te voorzien van de laatste Firmware 4.2 maar het lukt me maar niet.

 

Ik heb nu AL7BAR CICX 2.26 op de ontvanger staan met volgens mij boot versie 2, het display zegt -02- maar de ontvanger onder system zegt versie 1. 03.18.2004.

 

Volgens instructies die ik eerder heb gevonden zou het als volgt moeten gebeuren.

 

1)Upgrade the receiver to the software version Al7bar CI_040318_226_api

2)Upgrade to boot loader version boot_uci_1020_ver04

3)Upgrade to latest boot verion boot_uci_81_(04)0329_ver42

4)Upgrade to latest software Al7bar CI_040411_229_api(boot42)

 

Het gaat dus tot stap 1 goed maar wanneer ik de bootloader will installeren krijg ik het bericht "Error: File dismatched.

 

Iemand een idee wat ik zou moeten doen?

Gebruik de volgende tool ( AL7BAR Download tool V 1.31 ) voor elke software

die gemaakt is na 8 Augustus 2004.

 

Wees zeker er van dat je naar de datum van de software file kijkt.

Alle software bin files hebben datums er bij staan. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lezen.gif" alt="" />

Het is inmiddels gelukt na een lange zoektocht en het combineren van verschillende upgrade instructies.

 

Hoe het moet heb ik hier in het Engels geschreven voor ieder die het nodig heeft.

 

Instruction for downloading software.

 

Well we lucky Super World owners don't find the support others can profit from. Nevertheless I have spend many hours to find the proper way how to install the latest Firmware.

 

I used the downloading tool v1.31 but maybe other download tools will work as well. I prefered this downloader because it is blank and you need to type the STB model yourself. You also don't require to switch off/on the receiver what is needed with some Downloading tools.

 

My receiver showed version 2.0 and it had already Al7bar CXCI 2.19 software installed. I however messed up and had to install the original Fortec Firmware version which you can find on their official website. I continued with Al7bar Firmware but the only one which wanted to boot was Al7bar CXCI_040318_226_api. I lost however all my channel sttings but OK. This is my start point because I wanted the SECA2 support.

 

RECIEVERS SHOWING BOOT VERSION 2.0

 

1) Upgrade the receiver to Al7bar CXCI_040318_226_api, set the STB model to [color:"blue"]Al7bar cxci [/color] (type this using the keyboard)

2) Upgrade to boot loader version boot_uci_1020_ver04, set STB model to [color:"blue"] uci [/color] (type this)

3) Upgrade to latest boot verion boot_uci_81_(04)0329_ver42, set STB model to [color:"blue"]Al7bar cxci [/color] (type this or choose from the dropdown menu)

4) Upgrade to latest software Al7bar CXCI_040411_229_api(boot42), set the STB model to [color:"blue"] uci [/color] (type this)
