- change: debug-cleanups.

- bugfix: dual polarizer LNBs (Invacom QPH-031) should work now.

- change: as requested in betatest stage, in timelined EPG switching to the

current selected service is done with the OK button now. The

detailed info is no longer available from the OK button, but still

with the Info-button.

- bugfix: some workarounds for getting dualpolarizer LNBs like the Invacom

QPH-031 working. (still in testing stage).

- change: in the timelined EPG, if you press the TV/Radio button, the box

switches to the currently selected service (if not in PVR mode).

- change: added support for (L)PCM audio in the video media player.

Note: in PCM mode, there is no possibility to synchronize audio

and video, so playback may be asynchron.

- bugfix: in standby, if a auxilary device put switching voltage on SCART

pin 8, the user had no possibility to get the box working normal.

- bugfix: on services with changing PMT-data to set new Audio- and/or Video-

PID(s) like the "WDR" local services on Astra may cause not to

correctly update the Audio-PID.

- new : in Time & Date setup menu, you can set dayligh saving to automatic

and select the country (and option the timezone inside this country)

which fit's to your local time and daylight saving. Note: This

requires, that the country data is transmitted on one or more

transponders to hold the clock in the box up to date. I.e. for

Europe this works fine for germany on nealy all Astra-transponders

with german speaking services, or for scandinavian and baltic

countries on a lot of Sirius- and Thor-Transponders.

- new : in Time & Date setup menu you can select the source for getting

the date and time (in UTC). Default is Satellite. If you switch

this to "other", no more data from the satellite are used to update

date and time.

- new : in network configuration is an new entry "Network Time Client", which

allows you to setup an NTP-Client if you wish to have date and time

updated from the netork. Note, to have this working, your network

must be configured correctly. You have also to set the Source option

in the Date & Time Setup to "other" and to your local timeoffset and

daylight saving. NTP-Servers alltime provide UTC-Time.

- change: added support for LNBs with two polarizers (on for horizontal and one

for circular polarisations) like the Invacom QPH-031. The is not fully

tested, so it may fail to work.

- change: updated polish, turkish and german translation.

Geruchten juist of niet?

 

Nu het net zo goed gaat met de TD (nieuwe images, teams, enigma...)en dat steeds meer dev er zich mee bezighouden en dat deze decoder als uiterst stabiel gegeerd wordt (zie handtekening hierboven) zijn er geruchten dat zij falliet zijn (of bijna).

Iemand daar nog meer over gehoord (ja normaal kwam hier vandaag een TD bij, voor de stapel te verhogen).

Ik weet niet of die geruchten waar zijn 2 jaar geledn waren die geruchten er ook al.

Oficele site is nog steeds online

 

 

Er verschijnt minstens iedere maand nog een officele image gevolgd door niet officele, zoals vandaag weer de TDman gold edition 11a inclusief easy tv van orf in crypto (en het werkt)

 

Ik heb de laatste tijdt menig dreambox bezitter horren zeggen dat de de TD de beste linux receiver van dit moment is.

 

De 2 andere delen van de TD de dvd en de dolby decoder zie ik eerlijk gezegd ook niet meer uitkomen (jammer)

 

Maar de ontvanger zelf heeft wel een inhaalslag gemaakt.

Ja maar mijn leverancier moet ze nog willen binnenhalen, ik heb het gerucht nu van 3 verschillende bronnen gehoord.

FF afwachten dus.

Ik heb ook gezien dat er van alles uitkomt voor de TD nu en hij is zeer aantrekkelijk in prijs.

Diegene die ik ken die er een hebben doen hem niet weg (tenzij om een zwarte aan te schaffen).

Wat betreft de Dreambox, dat is waarschijnlijk de slechtste hardware van de Linux decoders maar heeft veel support.
