C band reception

I have an echostar 3000 IP receiver and a 1M motorized dish. Analogue and digital reception of satellites is perfect in the Ku band, but I have some questions as to the C-band.<BR>To my surprise it is possible to receive C-band analogue on my small dish. On Arabsat for example Bahrain clears when the signal indicator shows 80% or more; other stations on the other hand do not clear: Jaheera on the same satellite for example, with a comparable signal level induces the echostar to show 'no signal'. I suspect that my failing to receive more stations is due to settings of the machine as to C/KU select, LNB-power on/off, analog loop through on/of, etc.<BR>Somebody knows the right setting for my machine?<P>Thnksnull

Do you know that you have to use a c-band lnb<BR>(this one is much bigger!) and to put them next to each other will result in bad signal!<BR>At least that is my expierience with 1m dish<P>Good luck null
