Hallo

ik had even een vraagje kan mij iemand misschien wat meer vertellen over hoe je een Omnikeyreader 3021 op een ubuntu moet installeren en configgen voor Oscam ?

Required Software :-

 

PCSCd

pcsc-tools

Omnikey Driver

 

To install the required components simply type the following, enter your password and answer the prompt with 'yes'

 

sudo apt-get install pcscd

sudo apt-get install pcsc-tools

This is a tarball I believe they're known as, its an archive basically, I unpacked it on my mac and then just FTP'd the unpacked folder to the ubuntu desktop. You can use Winrar also to unpack it or I'm sure there's a way in linux too.

 

Again in telnet, navigate to the unpacked folder and install by typing

 

./install

 

Once you have everything installed you can test the card reader for a response. Simply type

 

pcsc_scan

0: OmniKey CardMan 3121 00 00If your card is not in the database it tells you the command to use to update that database. I needed to do that and afterwards it knew my card. This is not essential however for it to work, just nice to see !

And change thise lines by removing # from front and reader_drivers lines u delete one comand too:

reader_drivers = pcsc, ctapi;

try_emulation_first = yes;

lock_login = false;

provider_library = /lib/libpcsclite.so.1

 

If that is done hit from keyboard ctrl+o and enter, then ctrl+x to exit

 

Next give command:

opensc-tool ?list-readers

And you should see your reader there present like so, but with your reader info. Examlpe:

Nr. Driver Name

0 pcsc Omnikey 1020

 

How to disable pcscd never ending loggin to /var/log/messages what can write your /var partion full after some time.

Please enter next commands under putty or over terminal command line as root:

nano /etc/init.d/pcscd

 

There look next lines:

# if you need to pass arguments to pcscd you should edit the file

# /etc/default/pcscd and add a line

# DAEMON_ARGS=??your-option?

 

And please change it to:

# if you need to pass arguments to pcscd edit to:

# /etc/default/pcscd and add a line

DAEMON_ARGS="-e"

And hit from the keyboard ctrl+o and enter to save the changes and ctrl+x to exit

 

Next command to restart pcsc:

/etc/init.d/pcscd restart

Done. No more log from pcsc except start up log if you restart the PC and if there is error

device = 00 could also be 1,2 or 3 depending on port used. Do not go by what you see if you issue lsusb

maar gebruik je ze met je canalDigitaal card ? seca 3 ? en hoe zijn de bevindingen ?

 

en hoe komt de config er dan precies in oscam uit te zien ?

 

even ter attentie ik gebruik Ubuntu 11.10 met Oscam

Ik heb het allemaal gedaan op de goede manier en werkt ook wel

alleen ik krijg ze niet beide werkend onder oscam

 

of hij leest de kaart van TvVlaanderen goed of van CanalDigitaal goed

 

Hij vind ze wel beide in Oscam maar dan zegt die card ok bij readers No entilements ? bij altijd 1 van de twee kaarten overkomt me dat

 

Hoe kan ik ze beide laten werken ?

maar samen schijnt het niet te werken

 

 

 

 

ook is het een probleem als ik de pc opnieuw opstart dat die dan maar 1 omnikey vind

duw ik laterna de andere er weer in en uit ,ziet die er weer twee

Ik krijg het niet aan de gang

de manier van jou met alle respect was me wel duidelijk

maar

 

 

ik krijg hoe dan ook op 1 kaart CARDOK (no entitlements)No active entitlements found

 

na een reboot is het zelfs zo dat de usb boorten weer wisselen en beiden kaarten niet meer werken , ik heb de kaarten wel in een powered Konig usb hub is dat een probleem ?
