wie kan my vertellen welke soft er dual prosessor computers ondersteunen heb nu win 2000 maar wil 98me of zo gaat dat bvd

voor zover ik weet alleen Win NT 4.0 WKS en Server en Win2000 prof en server. Toepassing van dual-processing word in principe ook alleen maar bij servers toegepast. Novell Netware 5.x ondersteunt het ook ...

en welke verzie van linux dan wel ook de laatste verzie wel veel over gelezen maar nog nooit mee gewerkt

Als je windows wilt blijven gebruiken ondersteunen de NT gebaseerde pakketten uiteraard multiprocessing. Dus 2000/NT/XP.......

Alleen de software bepaald vaak of er daadwerkelijk een dual-processing mode wordt gebruikt...

 

Ik wacht nog ff met een nieuwe processor kopen want eind November komen de nieuwe 3 Ghz processors van Intel :

Heb je dus dual processor in 1 processor (HyperThreading).
