New kernel version won't work with IBM 120Gb. Formatting the drive gives various results.

First format: the box switches off after a few mins.

Next time the result was a HD with 1 dir: lost+found

after that the result was an unknown format.

 

The 'norma' 1.04 version don't have these problems with the 120Gb IBM

- upon Flash Erase there still is a large channel list that contains many useless channels. I think it keeps all channels for astra and eutelsat? Please make this list much smaller like the default favourites playlist only.

 

Maybe not a real bug but more of a feature request?

Channels scanned on both hispasat 30,0W and astra 19,2E. Satellite configuration is set-up as non-standard with all LNB's at 0. The dish position is not controlled by the Dreambox but by a LT8700 receiver.

 

Zapping with left/right in 'DVB - TV services' list between 'Antena 3' on 30,0W and 'ARD-Online-Kanal' on 19,2E the Dreambox tuner fails.

I.e. i have clear picture on 'Antenna 3'(SNR ~ 78%). Then zap to 'ARD-Online-Kanal' (the dish does not move from 30W) and back to 'Antenna 3' and the picture is gone. Dreambox shows 'switch service could not be found!'. At that point signal will be very low and channel info does no longer show any parameters.

 

After that when I initiate a channel scan on Hispasat until signal lock but not actually perform the scan, abort and zap from 'Antenna 3' to another Hispasat channel and back to 'Antenna 3' I have picture again.

waaruit bestaat die bug reporting? Krijg je als gebruiker ook de status van de bugs te zien? D.w.z. de lijst die Dream onderzoekt als serieuze bug.

Zo ja dan zal ik daar wel aan mee doen. Zonder een dergelijke lijst zeker niet. In dat laatste geval post ik ze liever op het duitse test forum of hier.

ik heb meer vertrouwen in dat bug track systeem dan hier op sat4all en/of dat tester forum..

 

ik zie dat er aardig wat bugs staan (staan ze ook op 1 plek ipv 20 verschillende forums) en ook zie ik reacties van de programmeurs, kijk, dat wil ik (willen we, neem ik aan) zien !

en natuurlijk kan je zien of iets gefixt is, of niet.

een bug die ik gemeld heb schijnt al gefixed te zijn, alleen nog ff de uitgebreidere timer en dan kan ik mijn dreambox als video gaan gebruiken <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Na spelen van een spel,maakt niet uit welke.sringt de dreambox op een zender en reageert niet meer op de AB.

Gebeurt na +/- 1 a 2 min.Moet hem dan opnieuw starten

om weer wat te kunnen doen.

When using the new feature, listening to internet radio using .M3U files, the box shuts down completely when an internet radio station is selected wich is not broadcasting. (Service not available message when same station is tested in WinAmp on a PC)

 

(The station in question is lazerhothits.c*m, the dance stream)
