can someone tell me if i can use a "twin" lnb on one dish(one for astra, one for hotbird) with a patched nokia 9303 so i can see Csn & TPs without using a motorised dish

try to read topics in the forum but as i dont undestand "nederland" i don't really understand all i read

 

Rebel and Friendlyguy seems to be the people who can help (as they help a lot of people from what i see)

 

1) in fact i want to have french channels on astra AND hotbird so i need a twin lnb and from what i suppose i understand friendlyguy do it... so it's possible??

 

2) from what i read it also seems that i must use the firmware "fullmulticam4000 freedom version 2.0" from rebel site which seems to work perfect and have settings in it

BUT ... from what i suppose i understand i have to switch the satellite so Hotbird will be n°1 and Astra n°2

how can i do that?

 

3)i suppose i must use l-xs-t 6in1 (but the "jc" one) is it correct ?

-1- A "twin lnb" is for using two receivers on one dish.

What you need, to view Astra and Hotbird on one dish,

is a "monoblock" or two single lnb's in a 6degree

holder.With 6degree holder you need Diseqc switch.

-2- In your receiver you need to change de settings.

Open menu with remotecontrol and go:

7-ok

B-Here you can change your settings

Write down all the settings so you dont mix-up and than put Hotbird as sat.nr 1, Astra as sat. nr. 2

Also possible to change the sat. nr. with the computer.

Go to Rebel's homepage and download "channel editor

5.1" and a channellist ( the one you like most).

Open the editor and open your channellist now you

can change sat.number (see leftsite,green number

1 or 2)save new channellist and put it into your

receiver the same way you patch the receiver.

-3- Dont use "JC" but normal "SX 6in1"
