  2. Volgens de maker voorlopig geen nieuwe versie

Well guys after trying for a couple of hours today I have come to the conclusion that I will not be able to fix the crashing thing with the config menu, this is due to me not understanding how the menu's work.

Basically how I fixed the emu was this - I donwloaded a couple of files, mods titanium file and a file for the dreambox and a file for the sammy and had a look at the hex in them to find out what keys they were using.

Now it is common sense that the providers for seca 2 and ecm's and hash table must be located in the hot emu patch - so I stripped the hdf file down to the raw files with hdf tool - which is located in the humax toolbox.

Now as it happens this hex that contains the hash tables etc is located in the raw file for module 5 - hdfbin -1-1a0000.raw and obviously the pmc table contains the pmc entries.

Now all the was required to fix the file was to find out from the titanium files what mod had changed to add provider 67 - so I copied this info into the raw file hdfbin -1-1a0000.raw directly over where provider 64 was and added the entry into the pmc table raw file - then repacked back to hdf format.

After uploading to my hummie I discovered the crash with the config file - now It happens that the menu for the humax is located in the language raw file (believe it or not), As I have absolutly no idea how to decompile this and even if I could I do not understand the asm programming language I have just been looking at this file with a hex editor - I have been unable to find out why this makes the menu crash seeing as the checksum is still correct I guess we will need to wait for the hot team to make a proper working release.

I'm very sorry about this but I have tried and know that there is no way that I can fix the file untill I learn about programming.

I should point out to you people that I am not a programmer or anything like that, infact i am a vehicle mechanic and have a very limited knowledge of files, I don't kow how hash tables work, or ecms - infact I really only know how to put keys onto a funcard, so please don't hold your breath on waiting for a fix from me.

I can't believe out the many thousands of members on this site that there is no-one else who can have a look at the files, so If there is please help all us humax owners and at least try to see if you can solve the problem.
