Ik draai nu al een paar maand met een 2.5", gevoed via usb.

Viel mij wel op dat hij een clickend geluid maakt, telkens als er iets op de schijf moet gebeuren (ca elke 10s).

Dacht eerst dat wellicht de voeding te zwak was, extern gevoed, maar het klinkt nog steeds hetzelfde.

 

Dus draai ik nu al maanden zonder externe voeding, gaat eigenlijk prima.

Maar als je twee schijven gaat aansluiten, of een 3.5", zou het wel eens te veel kunnen worden.

Ik heb een NSLU2 draaien.

Hoe kan ik een complete backup maken van deze?

En kan ik deze backup ook op een andere NSLU2 zetten?

 

Of zit er toch verschil in de geleverde NSLU2's??

het betreft beide de EU versies.

Ik probeer dit op Openslug, dus kernel 2.6.16

Is hier inmiddels vordering, zit met openslug 3.10 en een smartmouse. Ik zou oh zo graag een gecompileerde versie van die tool willen zodat ik die reader kan instellen met smusbutil. Iemand aub? Ah wellicht is het handig om een HOWTO te maken voor unslung 6.8 (kernel 2.4) en openslug 3.10 (kernel 2.6).
