ts files afspelen op je dvdrecorder?

Kun je ts files niet gewoon afspelen op je dvdrecorder als je ze daarop brandt?

Het beste zet je de ts files om tot echte DVD files. Hiervoor kun je DVD-Flick gebruiken. DVD-Flick ondersteund ts files. (Googlen)

 

Indien de ts file kleiner is dan 4,2 GB dan kun in DVD-Flick de optie Copy MPEG-2 streams (Project Setting - Video - Advanced) gebruiken. De video wordt dan niet gehercodeerd en het hele process voor een 2 uur durende film neemt maar zo'20 minuten in beslag. (Exclusief branden van de DVD)

Heb je DVD-Flick geprobeerd of gewoon de ts files afspelen op je DVD recorder?

 

Bij DVD-Flick - Neem eens een kijkje bij het DVD-Flick forum. Is wel engelstalig.

Heb dit geprobeerd, maar scheelt niets kwa tijd. Moet je misschien nog iets extras aanvinken?

DVD-Flick ondersteunt wel .ts files maar het kan zijn dat DVD-Flick ze niet erkend als goede MPEG2 bestanden, en ze daarom volledig hercodeerd. Er is echter een weg omheen (als je niet bang bent van wat computer werk).

 

Dit is een antwoord wat ik ooit eens op het DVD-Flick forum gezet heb:

 

I have managed succesfully to make DVD's from .ts streams on many occasions, provided you correct first the .ts file.

I am using ProjectX (but VideoRedo will do as well).

 

Putting the .ts file through ProjectX does not take long. A typically 1 hour TV program only takes 5 or 6 minutes to process. As an bonus ProjectX will let you cut out commercials and trim beginning and end. I find this easier to do over using the editing software of the recording device (in which you do the cutting with your remote control).

 

As a bonus also ProjectX will also extract the subtitles (if present in teletext - page 888 or similar) to a .srt file, which can be used in DVD-Flick.

 

ProjectX will produce video (m2v) and audio (mp2) files (demux option) which can be directly imported in DVD-Flick. And if the bitrate of the broadcast is reseonable then the the option in DVD-Flick to copy the MPEG2 streams can be used, which reduces the run time of DVD-Flick.

 

ProjectX does not induce any quality loss, since it only correct errors in the process stream, and copies the rest of the file.

 

Beware that ProjectX is a JAVA program and therfore you must have the JRE enviroment installed an your computer.

After downloading simply run the .jar file (double-click on it) ( f.i. the file ProjectX-v0.90.04.00.b24-20080501.jar)

There is a manual included with ProjectX - Pls. read it (at least the part of editing a movie)
