Tonight’s dual-payload Ariane 5 mission with the Arabsat-5A and COMS satellite passengers was postponed following a “red” indication for the Spaceport’s launch infrastructure that occurred during the final countdown.

 

The heavy-lift Ariane 5 ECA and its two payloads remain in a safe standby mode on launch pad.

 

A new launch date will be announced as soon as possible.

In the two synchronized sequences performed during the launch countdown on Thursday, June 24, an atypical pressure value was observed in the pressurization system of Ariane 5’s cryogenic main stage.

 

After precise analysis of this phenomenon, and complementary checks were carried out, Arianespace has decided to resume final countdown operations for Flight 195 with the Arabsat-5A and COMS satellite payloads.

 

Liftoff of the Ariane 5 launcher is now set for the night of Saturday, June 26, as early as possible in the following launch window:

 

>> From 6:41 p.m. to 7:52 p.m., local time in Kourou, French Guiana

 

>> From 5:41 p.m. to 6:52 p.m. in Washington, D.C.

 

>> From 9:41 p.m. to 10:52 p.m. UTC.

 

>> From 11:41 p.m. to 00:52 a.m. in Paris, on June26/27.

 

>> From 00:41 a.m. to 01:52 a.m. in Riyadh, on June 27.

 

>> From 06:41 a.m. to 07:52 a.m. in Seoul, on June 27.

Arabsat 5A is sinds gisteren in gebruik genomen, op 30,5 Oost.

De Ku-Band Pan-ARAB FSS footprint reikt ook een beetje in onze richting, zie hier.

Vele feeds zijn door anderen al gevonden tussen 12500 en 12750 MHz, meestal verticaal.

Ik kan er met 100 cm tot dusver nog maar één goed ontvangen: 12574V 3000 "MAJD 1".

Rini die 12528H 27500 is die op 30,5 oost, of de Koewitse transponder op 26 Oost?

En in je bericht staat Eutelsat W1 (10 Oost).

Dus dit snap ik even niet!

Rini ik denk inderdaad dat je schotel op 26 Oost stond, beide frequenties staan bij Flysat op 26 Oost vermeld.

Je gebruikt geen USALS zeker?

Neen ik gebruik geen USALS .

Ik moet hem handmatig vastzetten in mijn FIBObox.

Dus het is 26 oost/

Ga ik weer verder zoeken

Ik zie dat je ook een 1 m schotel gebruikt, dan zal het nog een lastige worden met Eurobird 1 op 28,5 Oost zo dichtbij.

12574V 3000 bereikte tussen 16:00 en 17:00 mooie quality waardes tot 52% (drempel ligt met de C-Tech rond 45%), nu is die nog maar af en toe te locken.
