Zou jij je config file willen posten of PM'en ?

Ik namelijk met een zelfde probleem. Probeer al 2 weken het kaartje aan de gang te krijgen.

Heb 'm de kaart nu in een andere receiver laten aktiveren, maar als ik 'm ik de DB doe (ja, ja onderste slot en op kop <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" /> ) is 't weer nada.....

Geef even door welk image en emu je gebruikt zodat we je verder kunnen helpen. Config zoals eerder beschreven lijkt goed.

Ik heb nu Hydra 1.09. Maar die loopt elke avond wel 2 a 3 keer vast, dus ik denk er sterk aan om nu Gemini te installeren. Ik zat veel te hobbyen in die Newcamd en cardserver files ==> geen resultaat.

Mijn idee was nu om dus Gemini met voorlopig alleen Scam te gebruiken.

 

Ik kon de kaart wel met telnet benaderen maar kreeg de melding dat 'ie geldig was tot 31-12-2003.

Eerst erase image doen en vergeet ook niet de "flash erase". Let bij Gemini erop dat niet alle Newcamd's gelijk werken met het Canal Digitaal kaartje. Volgens mij Newcamd 6.0 met cardspider zou gelijk moeten werken.

Trouwens, ik gebruik newcamd 5.28.

Hoi allemaal,

 

Ik gebruik de ruDream image van 09 januari nog steeds. Ik heb newcamd 5.28 opnieuw opgezet. Daarna heb ik de twee configuratiebestanden van de link wat ik eerder geplaatst heb in /var/tuxbox/config gezet, en aangepast voor de DM7000. (Eén regel aanpassen - was niet zo moeilijk <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

 

Eén ding heb ik wel gemerkt. cardserv programma liep niet, dus deze heb ik handmatig gestart. Als je probeert te checken of je kaart geactiveert is met de telnet commando, telnet <IP DREAMBOX> 14001 en je krijgt de melding 'could not connect', start dan een telnet sessie met de dreambox, en start deze met de commando 'cardserver'

 

De dreambox heb ik sindsdien niet opnieuw opgestart, (en ik kan het op dit moment niet doen, anders krijg ik het op m'n dak!), dus ik kan niet zeggen wat gaat gebeuren bij een reboot. In het ergste geval zal je mischien iets moeten aanpassen, /var/etc/init ofzo. Ik zal het later melden als het zo is.

Misschien dat mensen problemen hebben met de orginele kaart als ze, nadat ze de juiste conf files op de dreambox gezet hebben ook nog via de blauwe knop instellingen van newcamd gaan aanpassen. Bij mij is het zo dat als ik dat doe de inhoud van de regel "CWS = 127.0.0.1 local local enz..." corrupt raakt waardoor NEWCAMD de CARDSERV niet meer vindt.

Ik heb de bovenstaande conffiles op mijn DM500 gezet, heractivatie kaart aangevraagd en had binnen 15 minuten beeld. Eindelijk!

Dat is idd niet de bedoeling, alle instellingen staan al goed als je de config files erin zet via FTP.

 

 

Bovenstaande config files kun je nog aanpassen door alle regels die met [color:"red"] # [/color] beginnen te verwijderen (voor de leesbaarheid).

 

BTW ik hen nu wel een keer of 5 de juiste config files hier op het board gezet als je deze files gebruikt MOET het werken.

Voor de rest verwijs ik naar de database daar staat het ook correct.

Als aanvulling: Bij een reboot was het inderdaad zo dat cardserver niet meer draaide. Mijn oplossing was om de volgende regels toe te voegen aan het eind van het bestand /var/init:

Cardserver programma wordt dan bij het opnieuw opstarten van het systeem gestart.

 

Ik ben er van overtuigd dat er een elegantere oplossing is, maar deze werkt voor mij.
