In aansluiting op hetgeen pearlpeter heel terecht opmerkt nog de aanvulling dat het slechts een beta is gebaseerd op de rc12. Het team geeft zelf aan dat het nog verbetering behoeft. Ik ben het dus eens met pearlpeter en vind ik ook dat dit afbreuk doet aan de AZbox om dit zo te plaatsen. Maar wellicht is het gedaan met de beste bedoelingen,

We realize that in this first BETA bugs have apart from containing the RTi firm as it is the firm basis of the GIT compiled, so those errors generated by the RTi to us will be difficult to repair especially if drivers are subject and the like.

 

We will be fixing the bugs that we detected and adding FIX's in the update system that we have included in the firm, so stay tuned. We will use this system as long as we believe that there is no need to make a new version, such as a huge improvement to come into the system in the next revision of the firm.

Helemaal top als je de vorigepost nu ook nog naar het Nederlands zou kunnen vertalen. Wat ik er zo snel even uit haal is dit dus een versie gebaseerd op de best werkende drivers uit zowel rc12 alsook v.1.0, hetgeen betekent dat dit wel een heel goede versie zou kunnen zijn. Ook extra veel aandacht voor de Spaanse EPG, zou vorr onze EPG dus ook wel moeten werken. Jammer dat de rc11 drivers voor de tweede tuner dan niet gebruikt is, dus dat probleem blijft ook met deze versie bestaan vermoed ik.

Beste mensen,

 

ik heb dit image uitgeprobeerd en het werkt behoorlijk goed. De interne kaartlezer werkt goed. Je moet alleen oppassen als je een andere skin gebruikt, want dan werken bepaalde functies niet goed. Aangeraden is dus om de geleverde skin te gebruiken.

WiFi werkte niet de eerste keer na installatie, maar na een eerste reboot kon ik WiFi configureren en dan werkt het in één keer in tegenstelling tot de andere Enigma2 images.

Wat ook heel handig is is het gebruik van de Home toets en de Help pagina, waarin de remote controler wordt uitgelegd. Alleen jammer dat ze het plaatje van de remote controler omgekeerd hebben.

Just my 2cents;

 

Leuke image.

Werkt best goed, enkele hardnekkige spaanse vertalingen daargelaten, overigens wel op plekken die je bij dagelijks TV kijken gebruik niet als hinderlijk kan ervaren.

De "Home" toets met de daarbij Originele Firmware georiënteerde balk onderin is erg leuk gedaan. Geeft zeker de de "overstappers" een vertrouwder gevoel.

Werking met de S-tunet icm de C-tuner zuigt nog wel steeds.

De drivers zijn nog niet ok voor deze combinatie helaas. Een functionaliteit die in mijn opstelling afbreuk doet tov de originele firmware.

Wat ook nog een leuke bijkomstigheid is: dit image ondersteunt fastscan, waardoor je de Canal Digitaal kanalen in de juiste volgorde kunt binnenhalen. Het wordt de eerste bouquet in je zenderlijst.

Wat ik begrijp staan er software updates beschikbaar die je kan downloaden via het menu en dan moet het opgelost zijn. Dit schrijft men op een ander forum.

Er is een update beschikbaar, die dit zou moeten oplossen.

Met de Home-knop kom je in een menu, nu kiezen voor Install en in het eerste onderdeel vind je de patches. De laatste hieruit kiezen.
