fritzbox externe hdd per USB

Hoi,

heb eens zitten testen met de fritzbox via het webinterface om een per USB aangesloten harddisk te mounten.

 

zie hem onder USB devices

kan hem vrijgeven voor windows netwerk

kom er ook op middels ftp

 

maar met \\fritz.box invoeren in de explorer/verkenner vindt ie noppes

met \\10.0.0.138\naamharddisk ook niet

met \\10.0.0.138 ook niet

met 10.0.0.138 kom ik natuurlijk gewoon in het webinterface maar niet op de usb disk

 

en het loopt dus niet met een cifs mount

 

mount -t cifs -o user=ftpuser //192.168.178.1/naamharddisk /mnt/server2

daar die map die geshared wordt niet gevonden wordt

de share >naamharddisk< is een die in de fritzbox zichtbaar is onder de USB devices dus dat moet wel de juiste naam zijn.

 

heeft iemand van jullie zo'n mount zichtbaar in windows en zo'n mount aangemaakt?

waarbij misschien de ontbrekende "tip" gegeven kan worden hoe dat voor elkaar te krijgen.

 

o ja bovendien weet ik dat de 7170 een usb 1.1 aansluiting heeft dus echt geschikt voor opnemen is die eigenlijk niet tbv je dreambox / maar het gaat mij om de principes...

 

mede met het idee daar een externe toegang voor op te zetten die je van buitenaf kunt benaderen als administrator

yep, had ik al gelezen dus ook gedaan.

M.i. wordt wat je wil helaas nog niet ondersteunt; maar NTFS wel !

 

Slechts 1 computer kan tegerlijkertijd een USB-apparaat connecten, mits die hem eerst "geallocceerd" en daarna "gemount" heeft.

Het alloceren gaat met het PC programma

"FRITZ!Box Audio and USB Remote Connection"

 

Een link daarheen vind je als je un het menu klikt op "USB Remote Connection"

 

Mounten vanuit onze DreamBox zit er denk ik vooralsnog niet in,.... wel jammer, maar wie weet komt het nog.

FRITZ!Box USB Remote Connection

The control software for the FRITZ!Box USB remote connection allows you to establish a connection from your computer to the USB devices connected to the FRITZ!Box and to clear such a connection.

 

When the USB remote connection of the FRITZ!Box is enabled, the USB devices connected to the FRITZ!Box are passed through to a computer connected with FRITZ!Box via the USB remote connection. Such a USB device is detected as new hardware by the operating system on the connected computer, so that device drivers and software can be installed. Then the USB device can be controlled as if it were connected directly with your computer.

 

Using this function is recommended in the following cases:

when a GDI (Graphics Device Interface) printer is connected to the FRITZ!Box, which usually can be used only with the operating system for which the printer manufacturer has provided driver software

 

when all functions of your all-in-one printer are used, like scanning and faxing, for example

 

when monitoring your printer's ink or toner level (bidirectional communication)

 

when using special file formats (for example, NTFS) on a connected USB memory device

 

when using USB scanners

 

Do not use the USB remote connection if multiple computers are to be able to access a single USB device connected to the FRITZ!Box at the same time (network printing function).

 

The FRITZ!Box USB remote connection can be enabled for the following kinds of devices:

USB mass storage devices

 

USB printers (all-in-one printers)

 

other USB devices (isochronic USB devices like webcams are not supported)

 

when using special file formats (for example, NTFS) on a connected USB memory device

en deze Configuring a USB Mass Storage Device of FRITZ!Box as a Network Drive geeft aan dat het met ftp wel kan.

 

Interessant, gaan we eens testen

juist dat had ik al voor elkaar met ftp

maar dat is niet mijn "droom"

 

de 7270 zou je eigenlijk moeten hebben die heeft NFS ingebouwd

of moet ik toch gaan freetzen.

1 externe HD-case werkt ook NIET bij mij maar een andere wel

De ext HD werkt wel onder "USB Remote Connection", dus daar snap ik weer niets van.

 

Maar m'n 2-e HD is bij \\fritz.box selecteerbaar en wordt

\\fritz.box\WDCWD25-00JB-00GVC0-01

en een USB-stick als

\\fritz.box\Generic-FlashDisk-00

 

Maar zo te zien kun je niet beide "FTP"en "USB Remote Connection"

in ieder geval een "goedkope ~ eenvoudige" nas op die manier

kan met de QNAP veel meer en veel sneller

ook voor connecties van buitenaf

 

dus testje opgegeven.

FRITZ!Box supports the file systems FAT and FAT32.

 

Maar onder "USB remote connection" kan ik via de Fritz deze HD wel lezen ????

 

 

tevens staat eronder in de help dat NTFS wel kan ????

 

Could not mount an NTFS partition on the USB mass storage device <device name>. Use the "Safely Remove Hardware" command before disconnecting the USB mass storage device from a Windows computer.

The FRITZ!Box cannot read the data from an inserted USB mass storage device because the condition of the data on the USB mass storage device is undefined. This can occur when a USB mass storage device was disconnected from a computer without using the "Safely Remove Hardware" command.

Proceed as follows to remedy the problem:

 

Reconnect the USB mass storage device with your computer and check it for errors.

Disconnect the USB mass storage device from the computer using the "Safely Remove Hardware" command.

Do not disconnect the USB mass storage device from the computer until your operating system displays the "Safe to Remove Hardware" message.
